Description
This work is based on a poem I wrote in 2013 in memory of my dog Jake, when I watched with amazement as he ran across the frozen lake at Umstead. The poem ends: “And I remember a snow’s cut and on the lake ‘cross the winter, how we walked back to the car together after that, and how those days were so big then and so small now.”
